Tanca Els Ulls

A small, family-run wine project located southwest of Barcelona, led by winemaker Francesc Boronat with a focus on indigenous Catalan varieties like Cartoixa and Macabeu.

The wines are known for their saline freshness, pithy texture, and strong sense of place, expressing the unique character of a region where few wineries remain today.

The name Tanca els Ulls, meaning “close the eyes”, reflects the bold leap of rebuilding a tiny family estate in an area once dominated by large cooperatives.
