Hakutsuru resides in the famous Nada district of Kobe, celebrated for its sake. Ukiyo-e, is an art form from the Edo period showcasing kabuki actors, graceful women, landscapes, and city life.
Put that together, and meet this Junmai – it's medium-dry, offering a balanced blend of umami, spice, and a touch of fruit. Expect a delightful mix of roasted nuts, cereal, banana, dried dates, and hints of clove and cinnamon. It unfolds its natural sweetness when gently warmed.
This pure Junmai is crafted using only rice, water, koji, and yeast – no additives allowed. Pair it with gourmet cheese, carne asada, tacos, tikka masala, or spiced curries for an exquisite taste adventure.
